Before I rant, I want to show respect to my client’s wonderful husband. This was my second session with “L” and I photographed her and hubbie at the last session. This man adores his wife in a way I wish every woman could experience. To proudly wear shirts with her face (from her last session) and to brag on her photos to everyone- he is proud of her. Every word out of his mouth is positive affirmations to his wife. Though he is 62 years old (UNBELIEVABLE!!), he acts like he’s a teen on his first date with a hot blonde. It’s adorable and of course I love seeing a woman getting the treatment she deserves.
Meta isn’t just a social media platform anymore. It’s a pay-to-play monopoly. My FACEBOOK page for Brandywine Photography was built over 16 years with 34,000 followers. It was built with sweat equity and yanked away from me overnight when no community guidelines were broken. It is devastating.
It’s digital extortion in plain site. This hasn’t only happened to me but various other businesses who had large followings. It’s a money-grabbing scam to feed the ultra-rich. They hit small businesses who don’t pay for the blue check mark and ads. Small businesses who already juggle rising costs, long hours and thin margins. I refused to play that game.
But they can’t erase me, my art, or the relationship I have with my clients. If anything, it’s a the kick I need to pour my energy into my own platform. This is my blog that I will now post regularly on, my creative home to share my uncensored work. On Meta, you didn’t even see the best of it!
I hope all of my fans, clients and friends will continue to walk with me here. I’m done fighting with the billionaire’s just to run my business. My community is stronger than corporate control- I truly believe I’ll be okay. I have nearly 20 years of experience and many return clients like this beautiful gal pictured. I book plenty off word-of-mouth and Google. No more getting upset over constant bans and restrictions.
To my clients- past, present, and future- thank you. Your support is the reason I keep creating. Your stories are the reason I push forward.

You are phenomenal at how you make women have more confidence in themselves. Yes you have women that lollve to show it all bc you make women feel so comfortable in their own skin when we all need that boost of confidence. You do that in the evacuate work and dedication you do. I dont even want my pictures edited usually bc I love what you can do behind the camera with just me infant of you.
